KEV

Frontman vocalist who possesses an unbelievable range to cover all the hits in their original key, a complete pro. Founder member of the band, Kev draws his main influences from the greats such as Jim Morisson (The Doors)

Formerly lead singer for Overflow, Watford Way & Pavanis Kev has been honing his stage craft for over 8 years now and is not averse to bringing his audience to the stage for surprise “special guest appearances”, so be warned!

When you book Wired, they come to party at your party and Kev will have his dancing shoes on too.

MARK

After seeing Adam and the ants on top of the pops at the age of ten, Mark knew right then that all he wanted to do was play the drums. He taught himself to play in a style heavily influenced by Stewart Copeland of the Police and Benny Staples of the Woodentops. He combines traditional drumming with latin percussion instruments for a slightly different sound.

After a stint of session work and a brief yet glorious spell with 80's legends Prefab Sprout, Mark realised that a proper job was needed to pay the bills.

Musically into 60's, guitar bands, glam, the waterboys, U2, Elvis...but not so keen on soft rock, rap, heavy metal, and anything to do with the X Factor

LUCY

With Wasted Youth, Midlife Crisis, Usual Suspects, Pleasure Supply, Sharp Practice on her impressive vocal CV Lucy has graced equally impressive stages at the Dominion Theatre, New London Theatre, Victoria Apollo, and, she claims, Tin Tongs Pink Pussies – Patpong. (Hands up if you’ve been there too!)

Having once shaken hands with Michael Jackson she says he was never the same after that! Wired can certainly say the same since she completed the line up adding harmonies and lead vocals to famous hits as Wired deliver their proud claim to play the songs, as you want to hear them, with “no busking”.

RAY

Influenced by classic acts like the Beatles, Who, Stones, Dr Feelgood, Jam, Oasis, Guitarist Ray is the rhythm mainstay of Wired, bringing his 34 years playing experience to stage left. Formerly of Overflow and The Nobouts Ray also turns his hand to acting and appears in productions for his local theatre group. Do let Ray know if you cannot hear him at the back or if his acoustic guitar is not cutting through, Ray will be only too pleased to turn up a bit.

TIM

Covering wide influences from The Jam, Clash, Police, Led Zep, Thin Lizzy, Hendrix, multi instrumentalist (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keyboards), Tim has over 25 years playing experience across a wide variety of musical genres from metal to folk to mod. Having ticked off the De La Warr Pavillion (Art Deco theatre in Bexhill, often frequented by Eddy Izzard), as a teenager, he is not fazed by any gig! Tim is W I R E D's lead guitarist and is a big fan of Gibson SGs and Marshall Amps.

BOB

This dapper Face wears his proud mod influences on his sleeve, his chest, back, legs and feet. The Jam /Paul Weller / The Beatles / The Who / James Jameson / Bruce Foxton / Elvis Presley / Otis Redding / Aretha / Sam Cooke / are all paid due homage in his part of the rhythm section. A deceptively youthful looking veteran of The Porters / The New Reaction / The Reason / The Family Of Noise / Selex / Overflow / Hotcakes / Silveretta, Bob plays Bass Guitar / Drums & Guitar drawing on 28 Years playing experience including studio recording and session work. Bob has shaken the floors at the world famous 100 club / Moonlight Club.
